Janette Budge

The Problem

Janette Budge is a Shetland knitwear designer and tutor who has been creating unique patterns and garments as well as teaching others of all abilities how to knit. Janette had decided that the time had come to rebrand from JF Budge Designs and use her own name to start pursuing growth of the brand and business.

Janette wanted a website that acted both as a hub of information, detailing her history with Shetland & Fair Isle knitting as well as allowing her customers to book and purchase their places on workshops and tickets for talks. This allows her to streamline the previous process of doing cash on the day, or having to take down everyone's names from her Social Media.

The Solution

We built a brand new bespoke & responsive website, complete with new branding and photography which was easy-to-use and accessible for clients.

The website has ecommerce built-in, allowing workshop dates and talks to be easily sold online - as well as quick access to Janette Budge's popular patterns that featured in the Shetland Wool Week annual among other books. It's fully secure, and responsive, allowing for increased effectiveness, meaning visitors can very quickly pick their chosen dates and checkout quickly.

There's a blog section too, allowing for Janette to have a home for all of her thoughts and stories around knitting. It's much better with it all in one place rather as dotted around Social Media, allowing her to connect with avid knitters around the globe.
